Biography

Michael Dickinson was born in Marietta, Ohio in 1954. He studied art at Marietta College. For 11 years he was employed as a glass painter and designer for The Fenton Art Glass Company in Williamstown, West Virginia. Works other than his Limited Edition Lithographs include murals in private residences and he restored the artwork on the grand piano in the Ohio State Capital. His Columbus Union Station lithograph series was the result of five years of research and several months of dedicated artistry. Additional works include the city map of Marietta, posters for Marietta College, and various lithographs of Marietta and Columbus Ohio. His original oil painting “Evening Reflections” (The Marietta Train Station in 1915) was chosen by the Ohio Arts Council to hang in the Ohio Governor’s Mansion where it was displayed for two years. Michael enjoys painting historic scenes in watercolor, acrylic, and oil. He is currently traveling throughout the United States, researching for additional paintings and lithographs of American cities and National Parks.

His paintings and lithographs are available at gift shops and framing stores in Columbus, Ohio, where Michael currently resides, and throughout the United States.
